The Washington Blade is Gay

newsboxes1.jpgI have this habit of picking up free circulars wherever I go.

If it’s a free pamphlet, flyer, newspaper, or magazine it goes in my hand.

So while walking down Dupont Circle with someone who shall remain nameless I was pleasantly greeted by a host of newspaper boxes. I reached to open the Washington Blade box and this nameless person said “don’t get that”. I asked why not. “Because…that’s a gay paper.”

I never knew that I could only get my news from straight news sources. You learn something new everyday. (Please take a whiff of my sarcasm).
